TLDR: 100mm Aeroponics tower designed to be modular to use minimal amount of material without compromise to strength. eg. 1 mid section takes only 100grams of filament to print for an idea.
Spouts are 49mm wide - I used net pots off amazon, can also design if people want. open to feedback and use cases so please share!
About this print:
This is a hydro/aeroponic tower I’ve been building for my own use—sharing it here to get some feedback and see if it's useful to others. It’s modular, prints quick, and is designed to use as little material as possible while still being solid.
Key features:
+ Stackable design – add as many levels as you need
+ Port covers included – block off any unused planting spots
+ Works with a wide range of reservoirs
+ Designed around common net pots (49mm mouth, ~40mm deep) – the spout dimensions are also in the images for reference
+ No supports required
+
+ Compact and easy to print
What to print:
1x Lid
1x Filter
1x Body
1x Base
1x Flange (optional)
Being modular you can also print extra filters to place between bodies so that you're able to slow down and disperse the water droplets even more. In my test piece I had an extra filter in the middle section which really helped with dispersion and ambient noise
It's still a bit of a work in progress, so if you try it out and have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them. The goal is to keep it simple, accessible, and tweakable depending on your setup. Let me know how it goes if you make one!
