I (re-)created my cheap, mobile and small home cockpit which consists right now of a wooden box (50x46x15cm) standing on my right and a special holder for the Airbus Style Joystick and Tiller.

The main Pedestal consists of the Spoiler, Flaps and the Throttles.

These controls are connected to an Arduino Leonardo, which is acting as an HID.

Additionally, this Leonardo handles the Tiller (connected from “outside” over a DIN 5-pin cable and has a small plate for the calibration electronics and the dimmer for the “flood light”, as i do not use buttons etc. with backlit.

To get all modules connected over only one USB-Cable to the PC, there is an internal power supply, an active USB-Hub and a connecting plate added to the housing.

The other modules shown in the picture:
Landing Gear, Engine Starter Panel, Rudder Trim, Parking Brake, Cockpit Door, RMP and ATC/TCAS.

The Trim Wheel and the MCDU are still under development and will be posted here as soon as i'm happy with them...

In the PDF are also further information like the BOM, assembly instructions and so on.

But be aware about, that this is “Work in Progress” and there might be unnoticed changes or additions.

Update May, 5th. 2025

  • Optimization of the Arduino Code and the according remarks in the code and the PDF

Update June, 14th. 2025

  • Optimized the code for the Tiller and the Spoiler to avoid flubbering around the 0-values.

Update November, 18th. 2025

  • Changed the layout of the front panel a little bit … now with CockPit Door instead of Lights.

  • Also the recreated Gear and Autobrake Panel were included.

Update November, 21st. 2025

  • Small more cosmetic bug fix in AllFlusiControls.INO

Update December, 7th, 2025

  • As i haven't created my modules with backlight, i placed two USB-pluggable and bendable "LED-Floodlights" at the back edge. To mount the USB-plugs i now included the mointing plates.

  • I use these snap-in USB-Plugs and these USB-Lights.

Update July, 17th.

Replaced the front panel with an 3MF-File which was created in Bambu Studio.
The height of the letters were reduced and the 3MF-profile is ready for multi material printing.
If you need the STL open it either in Bambu Studio or https://3dviewer.net/ and export it from there.
