I have a lifting jack with a 17 mm bolt to lift it. But it's a bit annoying to manually turn the worm bolt with the handle all the way. So I made this. The shaft fits nicely into a conventional cordless screwdriver chuck. Be careful not to over-tighten the chuck or the plastic will break (unless you put 100% infill everywhere)!

I recommend printing vertically with 20% infill and 100% infill on the connection between the shaft and the socket junction. I print it in PETG, 0.3 mm height but it's not mandatory, you can print it in PLA, or even in ABS to increase the global strength.

This socket is NOT intended for tightening a bolt or nut, or else at a very low torque.

If you go too fast, if the worm screw jams, or if you go to the end of the lifter's working range, there's a risk that the lifter will fall off. And of course, I'm not responsible for what you do wrong with a jack. But if you can lift your car easily with this device, that's always a plus!

Oh, and last but not least, the shaft is not the same size as standard bits. So it has to be inserted directly into a chuck, not into a bit holder. I can make a “bit-compatible” one if anyone needs one!

Let me know if you need any adjustments, I can adapt this model easily !
