Hello everyone!

I have created this simple mobile mount with a few aspects that I found interesting:

  • Countersinking the screws to attach to the frame profile.
  • Two screws for better fastening and to prevent the assembly from moving.
  • A tight fit for smartphones with a case.
  • Sturdy.

The mount is designed to use M6 screws with Allen  heads and rounded heads, with a head diameter of approximately 1 cm. This is ideal since these are the type of screws commonly used in simracing cockpits. The screw does not need to be very long; 1 cm is enough since the thickness of the back wall is 5 mm. The first fit of the screws is tight so you have to make pressure to make it fit. If you have trouble with that, heat the screw to make it easier.

Print test was done with 3 walls and 15% infill in PLA using an Ender3 V3 SE, with correct results. It can be printed in other materials, but I don't think that is necessary given the intended use. The uploaded model is slightly different, whit a flat base to make it easier to print. No supports needed.

The internal dimensions for the phone are 80 mm wide by 1.5 mm thick, which is sufficient for most phones. However, if the phone is larger, the model's size can be scaled to better accommodate it. The phone from which the measurements were taken is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 4G with a rather thick case.

I hope you like the model!
