Cap for 29er daggerboard

Fed up with smashed 29er foil caps? Now you can print new ones!

(MY) SETTINGS:

Sliced in Orca 2.3.0

PLA+ 220°C (print it hotter for better layer adhesion)

0.6mm nozzle

3 walls (0.2 layer height, 5 top and bottom layers with 100% infill)

20% infill (cubic)

Didn't need any supports, not even a brim to prevent lifting of the pointy end.

Nothing special, It's really easy to print.

CAUTION:

Hole locations can be different, but can be easily adjusted in provided .step file, also, I would recommend adding your sail number (Like I did it which can be seen on photos) to the top side

I have no idea if this is even legal, but you arent modifying the airfoil shape so… But if someone from Ovington (or race committee) says that it isn't, I'll fight them :)

ALSO, why did you use an open-cell style foam (as infill) for something that should not take on water?! (this one is to that genius from Ovington)

Enjoy!
