A domino-like game for 2-6 players, played with 40 hexagonal tiles with 5 symbols, the player can add a tile when at least two side match.
It's slightly more complicated then domino, but even young kids (5-6) get it quickly. It trains logic, orientation, visual perception and fine motorics.
Rules:
- each player starts with 6 (5-7) tiles, rest are on a pile
- game starts with two random tiles connected by any matching side
- each player can in each turn add one tile such that it matches at leas two other tiles (all connected edges must have the same symbol)
- if the player matches more than 2 sides, the player is rewarded by extra turns (+1 for 3 edges, +1 for 4 etc)
- if the player cannot match any tile, he draws one tile from the pile
- winner is the first player who get rid of all tiles
- some tiles have a blank spot (no symbol), this is a wildcard which matches any other symbol [game gets a bit more difficult if wildcard tiles are removed]
Printing:
- use a different (contrast) color for symbols than the tile
- *.3mf are already with 2 colors
- on a single-color printer I have to pause after the base tile is printed and switch filament for the symbols - tile is 2mm thick, symbols another 0.6mm (print with 0.4 mm first layer then continue 0.2mm layers and pause after 9 layers)
- box is printed as is, no support, but brim is recommended
