I plan to create some designs intended to be printed in vase mode.  To test/design the limits of what one can do in vase mode, I created this model to test the various overhang angles one can successfully print while in vase mode.  This model prints overhangs from 5-degrees to 75-degrees.

On my Prusa i3 MK2S using a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.12mm layer height, I was able to successfully print with no artifacts up to 65-degrees.  70-degrees also successfully printed, but there was some light artifacts.  I was not able to print with a 75-degree overhang in vase mode.
