Replacement's were expensive and I didn't quite trust existing models on our bumpy roads so I modeled a beefier solution.
Print Material
TPU is highly recommended but not required. If using a rigid filament, you'll need to slide the bracket on from the side. With rigid filament, there less tolerance for manufacturing differences with your particular model of EZGO.
Print resolution
Pictured is 0.4mm @ .16mm layer height. It really doesn't matter given the “boxy” geometry of this.
Notes
- This is for the “rectangle style” polycarbonate that has the v-channel. I have seem some carts where the edges are rounded off. Measure before printing.
- I'll likely be improving this in a later design once I learn more about modeling. For a future design, I'd prefer to add an integral hinge so it doesn't need to be popped off anytime you want the window down.
