Introduction
This project was originally made for a Sky Watcher 150 PDS, which have the flimsy secondary mirror holder we all came to love at some point. My goal was simply to make a sturdier replacement.
But, CNC machining is expensive, and I had a 3D Printer, so against all odds I tried to print a new spider and see for myself how hard it would be.
After several versions, I finally achieved to create a 3D Printed (in PLA) spider that can hold collimation and not flex under the weight of the secondary mirror.
