Dual Servo Linear Actuator
This is an upgraded version of the linear piston actuator, featuring a dual SG90 servo setup for increased force and stability. While it offers stronger linear motion, it is more challenging to assemble compared to the single-servo version. Achieving perfect synchronization between the two servos can be difficult, but with a bit of effort and calibration, it is definitely possible. If you have access to a larger servo, it may be a better option for easier assembly and synchronization.
Key Features:
1.Increased Force: Enhanced pushing and pulling strength compared to the single-servo version.
2.Extended Travel Distance: Maintains a similar stroke length of around 45 mm.
Improved Stability: Two synchronized servos reduce wobble during movement.
Assembly Notes:
1.Start with the Base Side:
Begin assembly by mounting the servo on the side that was facing the print bed during 3D printing.
This side may have slightly tighter tolerances, making it more challenging to fit properly.
Mount this servo first to avoid alignment issues later.
2.Install the Second Servo:
Once the first servo is securely in place, position the second servo on the opposite side.
3.Synchronization:
Align the gears as precisely as possible. Slight offsets may occur, and manual adjustment might be necessary.
For optimal performance, run a calibration script to match their positions before completing the assembly.
Optional:
If synchronization proves too challenging, consider replacing the SG90 servos and models with stronger models like MG90S or MG995 for smoother operation.
