I MESSED UP ON THE V1 OF THIS. I HAD MY NOZZLE IN THE WRONG POSITION ON THE MODEL. IT CREATED A HOT SPOT AND MELTED THE RING (SEE PIC). THIS IS AN UPDATED VERSION WITH A SLIGHTLY LARGER RING AND MY NOZZLE ORIENTED IN THE CORRECT POSITION. IF YOU PRINTED THE ORIGINAL MODEL I APOLOGIZE FOR MY ERROR AND SUBMIT TO YOU THE NEW VERSION.
The original CoPrint cover rattled and the duct on it is beyond subpar. Needed a new duct for a core xy (SV08) printer. All the other options out there were too wide and collided with the gantry when bed leveling. I found this model and it was slim enough for my printer, so I gave it a try. I dropped this model twice and broke it both times. Thought it could use a little beefing up.
This is fit to the original Chromahead without the filament sensor. Not 100% sure of the deference's on the new version. If someone wants to give it fit test and let me know that would be great.
Mount it with the lower left Chromahead mounting screw, 1 m3x8 mm in the hot end, and 2 m3x20 mm bolts with lock nuts.
Printed with ABS
Orca slicer, tree supports, painted just the necessary overhangs and the duct ports.
