Want to try dual idler and it looks fun, if you did any test compare with single idler please let me know. 2 ver 4 bearings or 6 bearings.
Original plan was to use 672ZZ(2mm ID) bearing but too hard to get, switch to 681XZZ(1.5mm ID) which is easier to get. Did not pick larger bearing because require to change other parts design and assumable everything again.
Part to buy:
- 681XZZ deep groove ball bearings 1.5mm ID, 4mm OD (4 or more)
- 1.5mm x 10mm dowel pin (2 or more)
Assumable idler - push dowel pin halfway in print part, and put bearing in one by one, then push pin all the way in.
Swap - Only need remove M3x25 and M3x40 screws then swap idler. Follow https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/3-x-axis-extruder-assembly_199519#201258 .
