Multiboard MAG Snaps

This is a regular Multiboard snap with holes for various diameter 3mm thick neodymium magnets.  With the standard snap the face of the magnets are 2.5mm proud of the multiboard grid.  Designed for magnets that are 3mm thick, with diameters ranging from 6mm to 15mm. 

Each diameter has a version for a single magnet and also one for 2 magnets stacked in the same hole.  The double stacked versions will give you a stronger grab with the 2 magnets.  Depending on the weight of the object you need to hold, the “2 deep” version may be required.

Due to variances in both the magnet diameter and tolerances of your specific printer/filament, a drop of CA glue in each hole (and between stacked magnets) will ensure the magnets remain in the snap.

Magnet sizes required:

• 6mm x 3mm
• 8mm x 3mm
• 10mm x 3mm
• 12mm x 3mm
• 15mm x 3mm

Print magnet hole side down on printer build plate.  STLs have proper orientation.

Printed in PLA with standard Multiboard settings:

• 0.4mm nozzle
• 0.2 layer height
• 3 walls
• 15% infill (Gyroid)
• 4 top and bottom layers
• Your printer will need to be able to bridge 15mm holes.
