My wife bought one of these thermometers to put in a first aid kit for a trip she is taking. The issue is that the power button keeps getting pressed, and it turns on. The holder prevents this.
Add a rubber band to keep the thermometer in the holder.
I printed this in PLA at .28 layer height.
Print standing with the tip pointing up. No supports are needed for the tip, but they are needed around the opening. A brim will be needed to keep it on the print bed.
Insert the rubber band from the inside and put the knots on the outside. This will keep them from interfering with the thermometer fitting in the holder.
