Hobie 16 Vented Drain Plug

Hobie recommends storing the Hobie 16 with drain plugs removed to ventilate the hulls. Unfortunately, I learned that field mice can fit through the drain holes (and will happily chew up the buoyancy foam inside). This drain plug has a vent that allows airflow, but excludes wildlife. Insert before storing your boat.

Make sure to replace these vented plugs with normal plugs before putting your boat in the water. The vents are not watertight.

I recommend printing the plugs with the threaded end facing up.
