The standard Jayco window latch is Nylon and in some installations has a rivet fixing which is smaller than the hole provided.
This model reduces the hole diameter to make a neat fit, and in use less wear on the part. Other minor geometry changes make it more comfortable to use.
I used PLA for the prototype and it has lasted undamaged in use for more than a year, (pictured above) and have recently printed a complete set in Prusament PC Blend, which I am hoping will be indestructible.
Even in PC Blend a dozen can be printed for half the price of one replacement.
Printing is simple, no supports are necessary. Print on the “disk” base, and snap off the fin and base after printing.
I have used .25mm layer height, but a finer layer height will produce a “production quality” product in exchange for a little more print time.
