This will close your interior doors quietly and softly. I designed it to keep a bedroom door closed but to allow our cats to open and go through. Please refer to the 3MF file for print settings. I designed the entire project and created custom springs. I had great success using the Prusa XL to print the spring in PETG and the supports in Shiny PLA (shiny PLA sticks to PETG but not too strongly). Please see the images for an example. I used Command Strips mounting tape. All design files are included so please update for your usage.
Extra parts needed:
- M3 x 20mm screws
- Mounting screws or mounting tape
- Metal arm suggested (printed part included)
- 16mm outer x 5mm inner bearing for wheels
