This is my version of a height-adjustable track saw hinge made mostly from 3D-printed parts.
It fits Festool guide rails and should also work with Makita rails, as their dimensions are nearly identical. Compatibility with other brands may be possible as well.
The system allows cutting material up to 60 mm thick, which should be sufficient for most track saw applications.
It is designed to mount onto aluminum profile rails installed horizontally at the front and rear of a workbench.
Depending on your specific workbench setup, you may need to adjust the mounting hardware accordingly.
The front and rear printed mountplates are 20 mm thick and support 8 mm screws through vertical mounting slots.
I've included the STEP files for remixing or modifications. Feel free to adapt the design to your needs.
To assemble this system, you’ll need to print all parts listed in the print list and source the necessary fasteners, a PTFE rod and a steel shaft as specified in the bill of materials (BOM).

Front Assembly
