📡 Cable Holder for Balcony Mounting
📦 Description
This 3D-printed cable holder is designed for clean and secure installation of cables (e.g., for satellite or TV antennas) along balcony railings. The holder protects the cable from sharp bends and environmental damage while keeping your setup neat and organized.
Ideal for apartment balconies or exterior walls where drilling is not possible or undesirable. It is secured to the railing with one M3 bolt.
It should be used for railing which diameter is around 17mm.
🖨 Print Settings
Material: PETG or ASA (for UV and weather resistance, the material should be little bit flexible to clip on the railing)
Color: Light or neutral (black can absorb heat outdoors)
Layer Height: 0.2 mm (or 0.3 mm for faster prints)
Infill: 15–25% (any pattern)
Supports: NO (model is designed to print without supports)
Orientation: Pre-oriented correctly for best strength
🛠 Installation
Fasten the holder using 1 M3×20 (or longer) bolt and a M3 nut.
📝 Notes
PETG or ASA is strongly recommended for outdoor use
You can scale the model slightly in your slicer if your railing cable is thicker/thinner.
