Our stroller pads on both our Graco jogger and our other stroller were always sliding off the strap. We'd have to fish the buckle back through regularly to get it connected, and sometimes would have the pads fully fall off. These retainers connect to the strap and provide a “catch” that keeps the pads from going off the end. They face outwards, so don't cause any comfort issues for the rider. They were designed for strollers, but really would work for any 1 inch straps.
I printed with the short flat side down with no support.
