This is my take on a simple and effective retraction test model, designed to help you fine-tune your 3D printer's settings.
Recommended Print Settings:
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 0%
Walls: 2
Material: Tested with PLA, but PETG should work as well
Use this model to calibrate:
Retraction Distance
Retraction Speed
Travel Speed
After printing, examine the gaps between the towers. If you notice stringing or blobs, try adjusting your retraction settings and reprint for comparison.
Tip: Make sure you're using dry filament, and don’t hesitate to tweak the printing temperature. Running a temperature tower beforehand can help you determine the ideal temp for your specific material and setup.
