This is a James Webb Space Telescope that only uses 3d printed parts for the outside and center piece.  I wanted a version that wasn't entirely 3d printed so I used wood as the back board which allowed me to save money and plastic.  Sizing was dictated by the gold hexagon panels I got.  The center wood hexagon is 297.6mm from center to corner and 257.1mm from center to edge as seen here.

I got the wood from Lowes, doesn't matter type as long as its ½" thick.  I stained it black and glued the edges to the edge.  The gold mirrors have stickers built in and they stick just fine but they have little warps so they aren't great as a functional mirror but it still looks really cool.
