This is my 1.25" laser collimator i made for my telescope.
The componants
the laser is powerd by a reused Li-ion battery, and charge is managed by an USB type C TP4056 module. The laser diode is reused as well, as the switch.
I build the object aroud those elements, and made it as slim as possible.
The dimensions are :
- battery : 18.3 * 65 mm
- laser : 25 * 8 mm
- TP4056 : 28 * 17.20 *4.2 mm. The pcb is 0.9 mm thick.
- switch : main body is 18.20 * 6 * 6 mm
The 3mf's are provided in the file components
I also used 4 M2x10 mm and 3 M5x20 screws (3 M5x16 is also OK)
How to print it ?
I printed it as the provided bgcode files are. I used support wherever i need them.
i used PET-g, and a 0.4 nozzle.
How to use it ?
Be sure to settle your laser before each use. You can use the support i designed.
To tune it, you can use the 3 screws to be sure the laser beam in correctly positionned.
