HEMA Indoor  Longsword Trainer

I wanted a HEMA trainer I could safely use indoors without smashing lamps or walls. Most commercial ones were either too long or way too expensive, so I made my own.

This longsword trainer is 3D-printable and built to handle solo drills in small spaces. It uses standard M6 hardware and metal washers for added weight, and the design keeps everything together even if the plastic breaks. This trainer also let's you adjust it's balance point to match the steel longsword/feder that you use for sparring.

You'll Need:
  •    2 x 33,5cm and 1 x 48cm long M6 threaded rods & M6 threaded heat-set inserts

  •    5×5 cm (2×2 in) thick square metal washers (for the blade)

  •    5 cm (2 in) thick round metal washers (for the pommel)

  •    M6 flat head nut caps (used in furniture), M6 lock nuts & screws

Print Settings:
  •    Material: PETG or stronger

  •    Nozzle: 0.4 mm or bigger

  •    Layer height: 0.2 mm

  •    Perimeters: 3

  • Infill: 20%

Instructions:
⚠ Heads-up: Always check it before use and practice safe.
