Replaces printer toolhead with a mount for a pen to use your printer as a plotter. Print parts in the provided orientations.

This is intended to be printed with 0.2mm layer lines, though you can go finer. Parts should be printed in the provided orientation. Supports are needed for the underside of the chassis.

Tolerances on these parts need to be tight to prevent the pen wobbling, so once you've gotten the parts off the print bed, slide the carriage onto the chassis and make sure it fits. Slide it back and forth a bunch to wear it down a little and ensure it is smooth and doesn't get stuck. You should slide it all the way on and all the way off. Once it has been worn enough, you can apply a little silicone grease or PTFE lube to make sure it stays smooth.

To install, remove your stock toolhead and fix on the chassis with two screws, making sure they sit flush or recessed. Screw two M3 screws into the bottom holes of the chassis - the heads should stick out above the surface. 6mm screws or shorter will work, socket heads working the best.

Use two M3 threaded inserts in the holes of the carriage

Slide the carriage over the dovetail rail on the chassis. You may want to lubricate the contact area.

Screw clamp onto carriage with two M3 screws and slide pen into hole, screwing it down so it is tight. You can use the optional thumb screw parts and glue some socket head M3 screws into them so you can change the pen toollessly.

If needed, add some additional weights into the pocket of the carriage to make sure the pen makes good contact with your paper.
