The CadKat fixation of the roller wheel bearings often moves on the axle when there are waves hitting a catamaran from the side.

The “nuts” have holes for M5x90 bolts. They ensure that the roller wheel bearings cannot move anywhere on the axle.

The holes through the nuts are shifted by 1mm on each of the six surfaces. By this, even if the distances of the holes in the axle are not perfect, the distance at the roller wheel bearings can be adjusted perfectly.

The short nut gets mounted first. Then the wheel bearings are added and the wheel gets mounted. Ensure that the valve points away from the small nut - it would hit the bolt when the wheel turns. At last the long nut gets added and bolted.

Print the nuts in ASA with real thick walls. I used 8 perimeter and 4mm massive bottom and 3 mm top.

The idea for this design is from my friend Gerhard - many thanks!
