The stock dew shield on the APM 60mm Image Master guide scope is notably short (35mm), which results in inadequate protection against dew formation on the lens during imaging sessions. This limitation allows moisture to accumulate on the optical surface, leading to impaired guiding performance and reduced overall accuracy which ended-up ruining an imaging session. A quick solution was needed. To mitigate this issue, extending the dew shield via a 3D printed extension was the option selected.
I used standard print settings in orca for the PolyLite ABS and the PolyFlex TPU90 from Polymaker.
