Stacking kits are either extremely expensive and brand specific (for both front loader and dryer), or rudimentary with some kits off amazing consisting of a roll of foam/rubber and a ratchet strap to hold everything together.
My laundry does not have room for the front loader and dryer to sit side-by-side. Similarly, heat pump dryers cannot be fastened to the wall as they are very heavy. So, stacking was my only option. I researched several different brands to figure out how their stacking kits worked - in summary, Fisher & Paykel is the only brand where their top loading washing machines had a relatively thick piece of MDF to which the stacking kit was fastened in to with wood screws.
The design comes in 3 pieces with 4 printable parts. Two of the pieces are printed in a high strength material (preferably ABS, ASA, Nylon etc) with a TPU buffer to absorb any vibrations and slight inaccuracies in installation.
