When embedding magnets into my prints I hate getting super glue everywhere, so I instead use tight tolerances to hold the magnets in. I made these quick print magnet calibration squares for when I change nozzle sizes or material I am printing with.
In my experience I have even noticed different tolerances for the same type of material (e.g. PLA) being used but different brands (e.g. Prusament Galaxy Black PLA vs Polyterra Charcoal Black PLA).
I have uploaded calibration sizes:
- 3 mm
- 4 mm
- 5 mm
- 6 mm
- 8 mm
- 10 mm
- 12 mm
- 15 mm
All different diameters listed above are 3 mm deep.
Post a make with your determined tolerances!
Happy Printing!
