I needed a filament cutter and every one I found needed springs or bolts. I didn't have any so I designed my own cutter.
PETG, 0.2mm layers, 15% infill, no supports
Print the spring 2x, everything else 1x.
Assembly:
- Firmly push springs into base with the pins on the top pointing inward
- Take an 18mm blade, orient it as depicted on the holder side, and carefully push it all the way into the holder (use pliers)
- Insert the blade holder into base with springs (orientation doesn't matter; you'll need to bend top of the springs outward)
- Push the springs into blade holder
Disassembly:
- Use a flat tool to pry springs from the blade holder
- Bend top of the springs and remove the blade holder
- Insert a flat tool between base and each spring and push the it toward middle of the base
- Pull the blade out of blade holder with pliers
