Having just upgraded to Unifi, i have a bunch of the tiny little spirit level bubbles spare from all the drill templates.
This model puts these to good use to build a desktop builders level, its so cute!
What you will need:
3x unifi access point templates and spirit bulb lenses
8x m3 hex nuts
8x m3 10mm bolts (needs 10mm of thread on it, 8mm may work but it'll be really close)
Printing advice:
I didnt go to town on the settings and used no supported, just needed to clean up the bolt holes and handle slot a bit to get it to fit, the bolts need to slide through the model, not thread through.
I used .2 and 6 walls to give it a chunky wieght
Construction advice:
If the lenses housing dont seem to marry up correctly, press them together on a hard surface to force the lenses over the end points, the lens are built with some minor differences, so fit should be snug.
The handle cover fits very snugly into the space and i used a pair of needle nose pliers to clip it over the body, once this is done the halves won't come apart unless you break it.
The middle lens housing is very snug in the body, but end housings are deliberately thinner to avoid warping the body over them.
If the handle seems too long, use a craft knife to slice off a layer and retry it (another reason to print it on its end)
