Our grandchild needs some assistance during driving with his new cart. Therefore, I designed a coupling to support him. Main purpose is for pushing the kid up-hill.
Few Printables models served as ideamakers. Then I created this flexible joint. The joint is in a tube, fastend by a M5x45mm with selflocking nut. Three ø5mm dowel pins hold the joints in the cross-part. Hope this will last some time? The rod for a broom with conical thread is screwed in the joint end. Ease fastening, easy unfastening.
You need one dowel pin @5mm x 40mm and two dowel pins @5 x 15 or 16mm.
Designed with TinkerCad. Printed with Tinmorry PETG-CF on my MK4 with Support-material from Bambu. Print is not the nicest, but for strength purpose it needed to be like this. Some milling off of the joint sides were necessary, I did change the new design parts, hope it fits well? So don't wonder, when you need to mill also. Print lasted 6h with 0.6mm nozzle.
