When I installed a basket on the front of my bicycle I lost most of my handlebar space for mounting accessories. To solve this I designed a mounting mechanism that attaches directly to the basket’s mesh and frame, giving me a sturdy spot to install my headlight for night riding. The brand of my basket is Nishiki, but I've seen this design used across many wire/mesh baskets.
This design is universal in theory. It should work with any accessory that uses this type of mounting technique.
