This is a modular, easy to print and easy to build learning platform to start out with combat robotic.

This robot in particular does not comply with the 150g weight limit of the UK-Antweight class it is designed to be a trial bot for. This is compensated for by it being relatively low performance compared to a purpose built and engineered 150g combat robot. This design is purpose made for the www.robotersomslass.no project (site in Norwegian), for Trondheim Skaperfest 2025

See the Roboter Som Slåss website for more details!

Building instructions:

  • Best printed on the side using organic supports
  • I printed my tests in PLA using 0.3mm DRAFT settings, its a simple test robot
  • Make sure you clean off all the support material from the part for the assembly of the bot to be easy
  • Print one base with wheels (or use generic 30mm N20 wheels), and the weapon module of choice.
  • Pro level: Redesign the weapon module yourself to add a weapon of choice.

Recommended part list:

  • 2x N20 6V 300-500RPM motors
  • 2x 1A 1S brushed ESC's
  • 1x 4xAA battery holder
  • 1x power switch
  • 1x 5mm LED
  • 1x ~330Ohm 1/4W resistor
  • 1x FS-IA6 receiver (or similar PWM receiver compatible with your transmitter)
  • Weapon actuator (9g metal geared servo, brushed motor, BLDC motor) choose based on our design choices
  • Alternative weapon: metal plate or thin polycarbonate plate as a defensive wedge-bot
