I upgraded the strength and tightness of the design to use as a keif to Hash press.  Now you can press hard enough that you will need a chisel to use the hash (don't do that, use a lighter touch).

I strongly recommend adding PTFE tape to the flat (puck contact) side of the internal plates.  I happened to use the 1 in. version this one, but many are available:  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XFK235  Parchment paper can be used too, but it is not as effective.

Run the plungers through the system a few times.  Then wipe  the internal parts clean before you use it to clear off any loose plastic.  With the tighter internal parts, there will be a little plastic residual to clean out that you don't want in the puck.

All the strengthening was so I could use PLA filament.   Even  with all the extra strength, you can still break PLA.  Use to PLA+ at a minimum.  Ideally use something stronger that is food grade (not all PLA is food grade)
