I was a big fan of 3D printing in general ever since I saw the first early RepRap era printer review, and last week I finally purchased one! So this is my first 3D model, in which I've put all these years of passive 3D printing experience: it is parametric with adjustable clip radius, multi-part to achieve proper orientation on the build plate, and with chamfers to avoid overhangs! I hope you'll like it
Adjusting clip radius and clearance
- Open the
f3dfile in Fusion 360 - Click Modify → Change Parameters
- Adjust parameters according to your needs
armRadiuscontrols the clip radius for different tube sizesdovetailClearancecontrols the clearance between the male dovetail part on the case part and the female dovetail part on the clip. After adjusting the clearance, you can re-print only the clip part, as the case part stays unchanged
