Simple step relays made with limit switches and common DC motors. One version for limit switches with typical contacts up to 10A and a smaller version with typical contacts up to 3A. Both designs are available in versions with one or two supported contacts.
I also include an older, bulkier prototype that works via a piston system and, unlike the other two models, its operation depends on its own contacts to control the motor. M3 screws or plastic screws were used in these models.
To change the state of the relays, it is necessary to reverse the polarity of the motors.
For the model with two 10A contacts, I had to power the motor at 9-12V for it to run smoothly; if it runs for a short time, there is no risk of damaging the motor.
