A friend of mine needed a vent cover for her sailboat. I measured the one she had and made this one. Takes under a buck's worth of PLA. May also work for lights, etc and on RVs maybe?
Everything functional is parameterized if you use the Fusion 360 model. Maybe the STEP, too, IDK. Let me know if you have issues. The STL is probably not useful.
Parameters:
- ID: the size of the hole
- wallThickness: how thick the tube should be
- screwOffset: how far the screws are from the edge of the hole
- screwHoldDiam: the size of the screw hole
- screwHoldChamfterBottomOffset: how far from the ceiling size of the flange until the screw head taper starts
- screwHoleOD: how wide the screw head is
- screwHoldChamferTopOffset: how deep the screw should be countersunk past the chamfer
- topThickness: How thick the flange should be
- barrelHeight: how deep the tube should be
- topOD: how wide the flange should be
