Hey everyone this is my first "model" or first time modifying any sort of model. It is a fairly accurate full size MP5 model from the video game “Rust”. its fairly accurate as in I took the OBJ file from the game files and then converted it so some small details were lost in the conversion. I split the model and added alignment pins for easy assembly with just some crazy glue. It’s split into 6 pieces that easily fit on my Centauri Carbon build plate in 1 print. I will be printing it in the next couple of days and will post pictures once I get it printed and assembled. I did a scaled test print of 2 of the pieces and had no issues with that so I will be printing the complete full sized next. Elegoo Slicer says the full size print should take just under 17 hours with Elegoos Rapid PLA+ at a .2 layer height at 15% infill.

I recommend you print an orange end cap to comply with the laws of most states regarding “prop” or replica guns.

Print with tree supports on build plate only at 100% scale.

Recommended to print in PLA but I'm sure PETG would work.

15% infill or whatever you prefer, wouldn't go much higher then 20-25% to prevent warping.

I'm sure any layer height would work, I will be printing at a .2 layer height.

Please let me know if you run into any issues downloading or importing the files! Thank You!

EDIT 9/4/25: I'm investigating an issue with the file on the lower part of the receiver where the grip and the main body of the gun join,  having continuous failures right there for now I suggest adding extra supports in that area until I figure out the issue.

NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE!!!
