There are plenty of audio interface holders designed. This shelf is made for the same purpose, but can workaround two withdraws of the holder mounts:
- Holders are not universal. Each one are designed for a specific model. The shelf is universal.
- Holders are hard mounts. It is useful when user wants to press a button or pull a wire. But it makes also easy to damage an obtrusive knob or plug. With the shelf device may be just moved a bit by accident.
The model is only for supports. 4 supports may be mounted on any appropriate board. E. g. I used a A5 sized plywood list.
The bottom supposed to be mounted with screws or bolts. A done shelf has mount holes, but also can be mounted with a firm double-side tape (like transparent silicone one).
It is able to tune some dimensions with a spreadsheet of the FreeCAD project.
