This is a one to one recreation of the VMU shell based on 3D scans (Scans created by WeskMods: https://bitbuilt.net/forums/threads/dreamcast-vmu-scan.3988/ )
You'll want to reuse all of the original hardware used in the VMU.
For the heat set insert that helps secure the battery cover, use an M2x3mmx3mm heat set insert with an M2x6mm screw.
If you want to use the lanyard slot, I recommend using an M2.5x10mm steel dowel. I also included print files for this part, but I don't recommend printing it because it's likely to break.
These files are untested with the connector cap (because I don't have one).
