Adapt a Flex* ** power supply for use with TFX. No nuts/inserts needed! Just use your 6/32.
Require 6/32 x 1/4 countersunk screws for the PSU. Shorter ones may work, but engagement depth will be minimal. 3.5 in HDD mounting screw should suffice.
The plate offsets the PSU sufficiently*** so the C13/C14 plug does not stick out. This allows partial overlap of the plug and the PSU bracket for better clearance.
Seems quite strong. I printed a completely hollow one, still very strong.
Version 2 -- now with more offset to fit the Dell DT! Also massively increased thickness for stiffness + accommodation of longer screws.
*: Note that not all Flex PSU is created equal. Some may have different mounting locations. I modeled this after a DPS-400AB.
**: Note that Flex is not equal to 1U. The latter is much wider.
***: Depend on specific case, but likely a uniformal TFX specification.
