A common breaking point of the Samson SR850 headphones is the cable, as the wire will eventually tear itself from the actual headphones thanks to thin cable wires and minimal strain relief. Luckily, the SR850 is also a great pair for modding as accessing the wires only requires the removal of a friction-fit plastic cap cover and one screw. This model is a replacement of the side cap which can fit a 3.5mm socket for you to solder onto the headphones.
Quite a few models exist for this mod already, such as dusakus's, but because there are many different types of 3.5mm socket, it's hard to use a model and just assume it fits with what you already have. I've decided to create my own and publish a .step file, so anyone with the same problem can just edit the files as they need.
