Put that chip on your shoulder with a printed chip holder! Make a ‘battle vest’ showing the different makers you've met, or a collection of your own chips evolving over time. Maybe a hobby collector's utility belt, with a set of chips using different techniques.

This holder has a protective channel, a satisfying snap-in fit, options for open or closed bottoms, and a reverse viewing window. It can be generated in any length you can print, and lengths 1-3 chips long are included.

The thread channels fit a curved upholstery repair needle with a radius of about 15.5mm / 5/8".

If your maker chip does not have the standard 40mm diameter, you can generate a ‘fit test’ version of the channel, which will let you dial in for your chip and your printer.

Color logos are for the shops at https://asmbly.org/ makerspace!
