💊 Why I made this
I often need to split tablets into quarters, but everything I found on marketplaces was designed for large round pills with poor-quality blades.
Oval tablets would slip and crush, leaving lots of waste — and no 3D-printable design solved this properly.
⚙ My solution
So I created my own — a compact, precise cutter that works like a small stapler and prints without supports.
It uses blade sections from a standard utility cutter, which ensures a clean and reliable cut.
✂ Key features
🧩 Supportless print — easy to print on any 3D printer
🔪 Dual-blade system — top and bottom blades align perfectly for sharp, even cuts
💡 Flexible tablet holder — keeps quarters in place and prevents crumbling
🔧 Customizable insert — can be easily adapted to fit different tablet shapes
🧠 Design note
The model is a well-functioning prototype that made my daily routine noticeably easier.
Simple to print, easy to assemble, and genuinely useful.
