This turns the standard calibration cube into a light up display piece. Add RGB via an ESP32 or D1 Mini, or simply drop in an LED tealight for a soft glow. It also makes a great decoration for Halloween with the Pumpkube version, or anytime you want to show off your printers precision with the stock cube!

The cube is made up of several interlocking parts that can be printed in different colors. Depending on your setup, around two filament swaps are needed to achieve the best result.

There is a sleeve that reduced light bleed through the external cube, and can also divide each section to ensure the VORON logo on each side is independent from the others.

Optional diffusers for the logos create an even better glow.

Happy printing!

Instructions:

Insert the sleeve into the cube, aligning the logos and cutouts where required.

For the pumpkube, insert 1x heatset insert into the stem, and secure to the cube with 1x M3x10 BHCS from the inside through the sleeve and cube.

Insert the diffusers into their respective logo from the inside.

For LED tealights, drop an led tealight into the recess of the base, then secure the base to the bottom of the cube with 2x M3x8BHCS that thread directly into the plastic.

For RGB, solder 3x or 4x neopixels in a daisy chain, and then solder the 5v, gnd & data to your board of choice.

Push fit the LEDs and controller board into the corresponding recess of the base, then secure the base to the cube with 2x M3x8BHCS that thread directly into the plastic.
