In short
This premium case has thicker walls and features a Higaki pattern engraved on its surface.
It is suitable when you want to present the models as a gift.
It has the same dimensions as the lightweight standard case, except for the wall thickness.
What is this for
This case is designed for my mechanical mechanism model series.
You can store several models in it, and they will be securely held in place by the dedicated slots inside the case.
I have already provided a lightweight version of the case with the first set of models, which should be sufficient for personal use.
However, if you plan to print the models as a gift, that version may feel a little too thin and fragile.
This premium case is the perfect choice for such occasions.
Filament usage
- Light weight standard case with blank lid: ~85g
- Light weight standard case with lid with slots: ~90g
- This premium case: ~135g

Comparison with the standard light-weight case.

Printing
- 0.8mm line width is recommended to have the best result.
- You can choose the value with a standard 0.4mm nozzle.
- Layer height should not affect much.
- I chose 0.26mm.
- Any material should work for it.
- I used some ABS that I happened to find in my storage.
