A science teacher at my school asked if I could design a simple thermometer holder that would clip onto the edge of a beaker and hold the thermometer upright. She showed me one in a science equipment c catalog for about $10 each. I told her I could make one for about $.10 each.
She loved them and said that they worked perfectly. They were designed for a slightly larger beaker than in the picture. On those, it didn't stand up at as much of an angle.
Print them on the side as shown in the screenshot of the print bed for strength. If you print them on the large flat surface, then the two prongs will be prone to breaking.
