Box with slots for safely storing and transporting a radius gauge set cut out of 3mm (1/8") acrylic, since I didn't want them scuffing each other up.

The lid has additional headroom intended for a 3mm felt pad - simply cut to size and glue/tape in place to help limit motion when closed. No notches or clasps, it relies on friction from the layer lines to stay closed (and thus obviously not intended to be held by the lid, I only did that to demonstrate that it does actually stay closed pretty well!)
