This Menorah is a usable replica of the one used every Chanukah in 770 which is based of the Menorah used in the Beis Hamikdash.
The holes are designed for oil cups NOT CANDLES, and the holes are 10mm in diameter and 11mm deep. the hole in the Shamish is a bit bigger so that a metal holder for a beeswax candle could fit into it.
